BODY PUMP is a 60-minute non-impact class designed
to give your body a complete workout using barbells and weights to music.
Starting with a general warm up, the class then
works all the major muscle groups. The focus is on correct lifting
techniques and the use of light weights and high repetitions that will give
a well-toned and lean body in a matter of weeks.
The session starts with legs, covering hamstrings,
quadriceps and gluts. Next, the chest and back. Biceps and triceps follow,
then back to the legs for a final workout, with the class ending on
shoulders, abdominals, stretches and a cool down.

Stretching is included to improve your range of motion. You stretch during
the class to aid recovery, and after the class to decrease the risk of
injury potential and improve and maintain flexibility.
