| We realise there are
many people newly interested in Yoga. Our classes are for everyone. You don't have to be a
Pumphouse member to participate. You can come along on a casual basis. Our teachers will
guide you through your first steps. |
| |
| By conducting a
number of postures (Asanas) and breathing patterns (Pranayama) blood is oxygenated and
muscles are stretched, leading to an improvement in posture and general sense of well
being. At a deeper level it can enhance the mind and spirit. |
| |
| Anthea,
who teaches our Wednesday morning class,
has a great
combination of stretch and strength work through the traditional Hatha
Asana, which assist in balancing the mind and heart. We also have a number
of other qualified
Yoga
teachers who present varied styles from time to time. Our Tuesday
evening class is Power Yoga. |
